We have all heard that a mother’s love know no limits. There are herculean stories of mother’s acts to overcome strength, hardship or adversity for their child. For many great mothers, there is nothing more motivating than to provide for their family. But, what happens when mom isn’t around?
Here’s a story of the power of women. Despite other people saying stay away from the situation, a woman from San Antonio broke open a windshield to save a baby locked in a hot car outside. Using a tire iron, she smashed vehicle, crawled through the hole and saved the baby.
Her name: Angela Radtke.
Acting as a Good Samaritan, she saved the baby’s life. Angela is a true hero. She exemplifies what it means to be a person for good. Whether she is a mother herself, we don’t know, but her efforts made the difference between life and death.
The child was rushed to the hospital and treated for dehydration. The father was later found and said he had forgotten the baby was in the vehicle. He is being charged with child endangerment.
Everyday, people make mistakes. But, it’s the people who don’t ignore their feelings to do the right thing that really make the difference. Next time you’re in a situation, you might want to think of Angela Radtke and go with your gut because you might just be an angel to someone who needed the help.
Thank you Angela Radtke.
